CLASSICAL MUSIC NIGHT - Éternal | Eternity: The Symphony of Color and Melody, A Fusion of Classical and Modern

On April 28, 2024, Wiking Salon became the stage for Éternal | Eternity, where refined French classical music intertwined with contemporary Vietnamese painting, creating an emotional and romantic artistic journey. Organized by Q.AS Concept, this concert and exhibition was not just a simple art event but a voyage into a world of endless emotions, where sound and color merged into each moment.

French Classical Music: Refined and Deeply Romantic

The night began with sentimental classical melodies from France, with timeless pieces such as Debussy's Clair de Lune and Elgar's Salut D’amour brought to life by talented musicians Hồ Trọng Nghĩa, Lý Trí An, and Yan Wu. As the notes filled the Wiking Salon, the space lit up with the serenity and depth of European classical music.

French music, long known for its romantic and sophisticated nature, was beautifully complemented by an improvised jazz performance from accordionist Trần Trọng Tuyển and the Hot Club de Sài Gòn. The combination of jazz’s free spirit with the classic elegance of piano and violin created a multi-dimensional experience, blending spontaneity with formality.

Contemporary Vietnamese Painting: A Palette of Thoughtful Hues

Alongside the music, the Éternal | Eternity exhibition featured contemporary works by talented Vietnamese painters such as Hoàng Anh, Nguyễn Thúy Hằng, Dương Thùy Dương, and Nguyễn Thị Châu Giang. Each painting presented an emotional journey, where the audience could feel the connection between tradition and modernity, between inner reflection and the outside world.

Hoàng Anh took the audience into a surreal space of the pine forests of Đà Lạt, where familiar shapes became mysterious and otherworldly. Meanwhile, Nguyễn Thị Châu Giang used traditional silk painting techniques, skillfully blending the soft fluidity of her brushstrokes with contemporary and expansive thoughts.

Nguyễn Thúy Hằng's works portrayed a world of chaos and mystery, engraving a deep image of human isolation amidst modern society. Each artwork contained profound layers of thought, inviting viewers not only to admire but to contemplate and feel deeply.
